Abstract
This study set out to explore The Effectiveness of Ai-Assisted Research Compared to Traditional Methods: A Study of UNIBEN Students, especially when compared to more traditional research methods. As tools like ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Quillbot become increasingly popular, it was important to understand how students are using them, what they find helpful, and what concerns they might have. Using a survey of 402 undergraduate students across different faculties, the study found that most students are not only aware of AI tools but also actively use them to make research faster, easier, and more accurate. Many students appreciated the convenience of AI, highlighting benefits like better grammar, faster content generation, and easier access to information. However, there were also shared concerns some students worried about over dependence, reduced originality, and the ethical implications of relying too much on AI. Interestingly, while around 68% of the students preferred using AI tools for research, others still valued traditional methods, especially for tasks that require deep thinking, proper citations, and personal analysis. These findings reflect a wider conversation in academia: AI is helpful, but it shouldn't replace human insight, critical thinking, or academic honesty. In conclusion, the study suggests that AI tools should be embraced—but with caution. Institutions should provide guidance on responsible usage, introduce AI literacy into the curriculum, and help students learn how to balance innovation with integrity. This research adds to our understanding of how Nigerian students view AI in education and offers practical steps for using these tools wisely and effectively.

Abstract
This research investigated how effective media campaigns are in influencing public perceptions of domestic violence in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Despite various efforts, domestic violence continues to be a significant societal issue, prompting increased use of media for advocacy and awareness. The study aimed to evaluate public awareness of domestic violence, assess the impact of media campaigns on public perception, and analyze the degree to which these campaigns facilitate behavioral changes among residents. Media campaigns effectively heightened awareness and positively influenced perceptions of domestic violence, framing it as a significant social issue rather than a private concern. Platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook were highlighted as essential in promoting these campaigns, especially to younger demographics. However, the research also pointed out that despite improvements in awareness and perception, tangible behavioral changes remain limited, with some individuals still hesitant to report or intervene in abuse situations. In conclusion, the study emphasized that while media campaigns play a crucial role in addressing domestic violence, they should be supported by enhanced legal enforcement, cultural shifts, and community engagement. It recommended ongoing and varied media advocacy in collaboration with the government and stakeholders to foster lasting behavioral change in Benin City

Abstract
This research focuses on the analysis of the effectiveness of cybercrime laws in Nigeria: Challenges and solutions. Despite the enactment of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.), Act, 2015, Nigeria continues to struggle with enforcing its cybercrime laws effectively. This paper critically analyzes the effectiveness of Nigeria’s cybercrime legal framework, identifies the systemic and operational challenges that hinder enforcement, and proposes viable solutions to improve the legal and institutional response to cyber threats. Drawing on scholarly sources, legal documents, and policy analysis, this study argues that while the legal framework is a significant step forward, its enforcement is undermined by weak institutional capacity, corruption, technological gaps, and low public awareness. The research concludes that the enactment of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.), Act, 2015 marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s fight against digital crime. However, its effectiveness is hindered by structural, legal, and operational shortcomings. Low public awareness, poor enforcement capacity, outdated legal provisions, and weak institutional coordination continue to plague Nigeria’s cybersecurity landscape. This study recommends that there should be periodic review and amendment of the Cybercrime Act to include modern cyber threats such as AI, cryptocurrency scams, and deep fakes. Sections that are vague, particularly those that threaten digital rights, should be redefined with clearer language; launch nationwide, multilingual cybercrime awareness programs via traditional media, social media, and grassroots outreach. Engage religious and community leaders to disseminate messages in rural areas; invest in the training of law enforcement agents, prosecutors, and judges on digital forensics, cyber law, and electronic evidence management. Establish cybercrime labs in collaboration with academia and the private sector and develop and adopt protocols for the admissibility of digital evidence in court, ensuring that data is collected and preserved in accordance with global best practices.

Abstract
In our pursuit of sustainable solutions to address environmental challenges, the treatment and reuse of wastewater have gained significant attention. The automobile industry, renowned for its substantial water consumption and discharge, has emerged as a focal point for exploring innovative approaches to wastewater management. This study investigates the potential applications, benefits, and challenges associated with utilizing automobile wastewater in construction activities. The scope of work involved collecting samples from car wash facilities, analyzing chemical and mineral properties, preparing concrete mixes, and conducting tests using both potable water and automobile wastewater. Laboratory tests on the automobile wastewater samples demonstrated that key parameters such as Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), chloride (Cl⁻), bicarbonate (HCO₃), and sulfate (SO₄) were within standard limits for concrete production. Notably, the setting time tests on cement molds revealed a significant 27.73% reduction in initial setting time and a 14.81% increase in final setting time using first wash compared to potable water. The use of second wash resulted in a more substantial 45.38% decrease in initial setting time and a modest 3.70% increase in final setting time. Slump tests correlated detergent concentration with higher values for the first wash. However, the compression tests on concrete indicated a decrease in strength, with a 35.96% reduction at 28 days against first wash and a more significant 54.75% reduction against second wash. In conclusion it is evident that for automobile waste water to be used for concrete production, it must undergo process of treatment. As recommendation, it is advised to implement effective treatment processes for automobile wastewater before incorporating it into concrete production, ensuring that the construction materials meet required standards and contribute to sustainable environmental practices in the automobile industry.
