Abstract
The study was carried out to analyse digital literacy utilization among adult learners in Adult Education programme in Edo State, Benin Metropolis. To enable the study achieve its objectives, five (5) research questions were raised. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of this study comprised all Adult Learners in Benin Metropolis from which a total of one hundred respondents were selected to form the sample size for the study. A research instrument titled questionnaire on the analysis of digital literacy utilization among adult learners in Adult Education programme in Edo State, Benin Metropolis was the instrument used for data collection. The validity of the instrument was ascertained through the expert judgment approach while the test re-test method of estimating reliability was used to determine the reliability of the instrument. A reliability index of 0.87 was obtained using Person Product Moment Correlation Statistics. Collected data were analyzed using frequency count, simple percentage, and mean score analysis. In view of the findings and conclusions arising from this study, the following
recommendations are made; there is need for the government to get involved in digital literacy programmes by helping to plan and implement the structure of the system, syllables, provide instructional materials and facilities. The government should also
fund digital literacy programmes adequately in order for it to be more effective to the adult learners. There is need to tailor digital literacy programmes to adult learners' unique needs in such a way that will accommodate diverse learning styles, providing
mentorship, encouraging peer support, and establishing local business collaborations. These methods create an inclusive, supportive, and applicable learning environment for all involved. The government should help in creating awareness in conjunction
with adult literacy through the provision of billboards, pamphlets etc, that would help to enlighten the adult citizens about the benefits of the programmes. Modern digital technologies and resources should be integrated into adult education curricula to
enhance skill development and real-world applicability. Policy makers should be encouraged to prioritize initiatives that can bridge the digital divide such as partnerships between adult education institutions, tech companies, and local businesses to provide hands-on learning opportunities and promote digital skill acquisition.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM DETECTOR

Year of Publication
Publication Type
Abstract
The importance of home security is increasing, and systems are constantly being improved. Sophisticated firearms, security guards, alarms, and other security measures have all been improved. Software and electronic hardware have also been invented. One of the most crucial safety measures that are necessary for all social groupings is home security.
The system architecture entails the integration of sound and motion detectors with a central processing unit, enabling real-time monitoring and response to potential security breaches. Leveraging advanced sensor technologies, the system can accurately identify unauthorized intrusions and trigger appropriate alarm responses. Key components of the system include high-sensitivity sound sensors capable of detecting anomalies such as breaking glass or forced entry, coupled with motion detectors that utilize passive infrared technology to detect movement within designated areas. These sensors are interconnected with a central control unit programmed to analyze sensor inputs and initiate alarm protocols when suspicious activity is detected. The system incorporates user-friendly interfaces for configuration and monitoring, allowing users to customize alarm settings and receive real-time alerts via mobile devices or computer interfaces. Additionally, the system's scalability and flexibility enable integration with existing security infrastructure, making it suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Abstract
Cheese is a dairy product made from pressed milk curds produced mainly from animal milk throughout the world where animal production is available. It is a nutritious food and one of the numerous products from the processing of milk of cows, goats, sheep, buffalos, camels and yaks. It is produced by coagulation of the milk protein known as casein. Cheese is an important milk product with milk nutrients having good storage properties with increased shelf life. This study investigated the potential of using different coagulants - vinegar, lime juice, lemon juice, and unripe papaya pulp in the production of goat milk cheese. The proximate composition, mineral content, and sensory attributes of Mozzarella and Cream Cheese produced with these coagulants were analyzed and studied in the laboratory. The proximate composition analysis revealed significant differences in the moisture content (MC), crude protein (CP), crude fat (CF), and nitrogen-free extract (NFE) among the different treatments for both Mozzarella and cream cheese. Unripe papaya pulp consistently exhibited the highest values for CP and CF in both types of cheese having values 19.34 and 22.99 for Mozzarella cheese and Cream cheese respectively. This could be attributed to the coagulation process and the properties of the coagulants used. The mineral analysis showed significant variations in the calcium, phosphorus, and zinc content of the cheeses while lemon juice coagulant had the highest phosphorus content, the Zinc content varied among the treatments, with also lemon juice coagulant showing the highest values of 0.6467 and 0.6033 for Mozzarella and Cream cheese respectively. These differences are due to the varying mineral compositions of the coagulants used. The sensory analysis revealed differences in the appearance, smell, taste, texture, and overall acceptability of the cheeses. The discussion highlights the substantial impact of coagulant choice on cheese quality, integrating these findings with existing literature. Unripe papaya pulp emerged as a particularly promising coagulant, producing nutrient-dense cheese that meets both nutritional and sensory standards.

Abstract
The construction industry faces increasing challenges in achieving sustainable, ecofriendly practices while meeting the growing demand for housing. This research
project explores the viability of rammed earth as a substitute replacement for sandcrete and concrete in building construction in Ekosodin, Edo State, Nigeria. Rammed earth, an ancient construction material requiring special technique, offers significant potential for sustainable building due to its low environmental impact, availability of raw materials, and thermal mass properties. The research will encompass a comprehensive analysis of rammed earth's structural performance, thermal efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the context of Edo State's climate and local construction practices. By examining the technical, economic, and environmental aspects of rammed earth construction, this research aims to provide valuable insights and recommendations for promoting its adoption as a sustainable building material in Edo State, ultimately contributing to the region's sustainable development goals.

Abstract
Tetrapleura tetraptera¸ commonly known as Aidan fruit, is a tropical plant indigenous to Western and Central Africa. Botanically, it belongs to the Fabaceae or Leguminosae family and is renowned for its distinctive four-winged fruit pods, which inspired its name tetraptera. This plant has been a prominent part of West African traditional medicine and culinary practices for generations. Several reports have documented that the various parts of the plant have various medicinal properties and it
also possesses anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic and antioxidant properties. This study examines The Effect of Tetrapleura tetraptera on the Livers of adult Wistar Rats. This work involved the use of an experimental study design, consisting of twenty-four (24) adult Wistar rats weighing 160-212g which were acclimatized for two (2) weeks, separated into four (4) groups; A, B, C and D with each group having six (6) Wistar rats of randomized patterns for administration and were all weighed prior to it. In Group A (control group), the rats were administered with 1ml distilled water, Group B were administered with 200mg/kg body weight of ethanol extract of Tetrapleura tetraptera (low dose), Group C were administered with 400mg/kg body weight of ethanol extract of Tetrapleura tetraptera (intermediate dose), Group D were administered with 800mg/kg body weight of ethanol extract of Tetrapleura tetraptera (high dose). After administration (twenty-eight (28) days), the animals were sacrificed, organs harvested and processed for assays according to established methods. Data from the animals were subjected to statistical analysis using GraphPad prism version 8.1 statistical package and relevant statistical values were obtained. One-way analysis of variance
(ANOVA) was carried out and data were presented as mean ± standard error of mean (SEM). Least significant difference (LSD) post-hoc test was used. Values of P<0.05 were considered statistically significant. The statistical values obtained were converted into graphical representation in form of bar charts. Histologically, Group A, the control group, showed liver tissue with normal architecture comprising of hepatocytes, sinusoids, bile ducts and the portal veins
