Due to the absence of the newly designed Naira notes, the scarcity came into play causingdamage to individuals, businesses and the economy. And so, this research study aims to explore the utilization of cartoon characters to address the issue posing as a threat to the well- being of all__ communicating through visual representations for better understanding. The space for an effective communication methods to raise awareness and engage the public, strike emotions and reactions by so harnessing the power of visual representation. The study, aims toinvestigate the stand of cartoon characters in conveying the impacts done.

Graphic lighting systems has become a topic of interest in urban planning and design due to its potential benefits, including improved emergency response, better navigation, increased property values, and enhanced security. However, despite these potential benefits, there is limited research on the implementation and effectiveness of graphic lighting system in the University of Benin, and many questions and concerns remain about their use. However, the aim of this study is to examine the implementation and effectiveness of graphic lighting system for the entrance to the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. The research also brings to light the challenges and obstacles associated with implementing graphic lighting system in the University of Benin. The study established the effectiveness of graphic lighting system in improving emergency response, navigation, property values, record keeping, and security, its explore the perception of residents and visitors on the use of graphic lighting system in the University of Benin. The researcher investigates the cost-effectiveness of using graphic lighting system in the University of Benin and to explore the best practices for using graphic lighting system in the university.
The study employed the use of mixed methods approach within the case study method. The mixed method approach offers the opportunity to investigate and understand the dynamics of a particular system. With this approach, the researcher explores a single entity or phenomenon (the case) bounded by time and activity and collects detailed information using a primary and secondary mode of data collection procedure during a sustained period of time. The study adopted the use of both purposive and simple random sampling techniques.
The study shows that graphic lighting system has a rich history that differs from one region to another and the introduction of graphic lighting system in the University of Benin is a recent and welcomed development. It was recommended that since the use of graphic lighting system in the University of Benin has greatly enhance the aesthetics of the locality, residents and service providers should make use of graphic lighting system so as to make easy accessibility to locations for this will improve prompt service delivery and response in times of emergency. It was also recommended that other properties owners should embrace the graphic lighting system so as to give their property a higher value as prospective buyers or others that will consider such properties more desirable due to the fact that it will be easy in locating them. It is also important that creating awareness and educating citizens about its significance in the graphic lighting system

This research encompasses the significance of signage in enhancing branding, communication, safety, and accessibility within the University of Benin’s Ekehuan Campus. Signage plays a vital role in educational settings by fostering a unified institutional identity, improving user experience, and ensuring safety—especially during emergencies. Additionally, the study highlights that the needs of persons with disabilities are frequently neglected, thereby limiting equitable access to campus facilities. The research examines core design elements—including typography, color schemes, imagery, and spatial placement—and their influence on branding, user experience, and inclusivity. The aim of this study is to provide practical recommendations for enhancing signagedesign that aligns with the university’s visual identity and accessibility standards. Byaddressing existing shortcomings, the study seeks to create a more functional, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all users, including individuals with disabilities. The findings are anticipated to guide future signage design practices that promote improved user engagement, safety, and accessibility across academic institutions.

Nonetheless, embroidery, done either mechanically or by hand, remains one of the most relevant means of improving and beautifying garments, which directly in creases their appeal to those viewing them. However, there are various challenges that arise regarding the use and application of industrial zigzag embroidery machines to make garments, especially to those in the fashion sector and to tailors and fashion students at various universities. These challenges include cost, technical know-how, and power supply. Consequently, the focus of this study is on the use of straight sewing machine in the illustration of clothing as an alternative method to embroidery. Some of the various and complex stitching that can be executed on a straight sewing machine have been researched in an attempt to achieve aesthetically appealing and fashionable clothing that is affordable. In the study, an exploratory approach is used to show that despite the fact that the straight sewing machine was not originally made for embroidery work, through skill, precision, and observance of great attention to work done, appropriate results are acquired. This is done through the use of illustrations and concepts that are sketched and drawn onto the gum stays placed on the garments.

Non-linear editing is a modern video editing technique that allows editors to manipulate and arrange video and audio clips in a non-linear fashion. This process is particularly useful in the production of promotional content for movies, as it allows for the creation of dynamic and engaging trailers that can capture the attention of potential viewers. The promotional analysis process typically begins with the collection of footage from the movie, which is then organized and assembled into a rough cut. This rough cut is then refined and polished using a variety of editing tools and techniques, including colour correction, sound mixing, and special effects. Non-linear editing allows editors to easily experiment with different cuts and visual effects, allowing
them to quickly iterate and refine their work until they achieve the desired results. This process can significantly speed up the production of promotional content and help ensure that the final product is both visually and engaging. Overall, the use of Non-linear editing in video making is an essential tool for creating effective trailers and promotional materials. By leveraging on the power of this modern editing technique, movie studios can generate buzz and excitement around their new releases, ultimately leading to increased box office success.

The act of learning is more effective when carried out under a conducive, favorable or suitable environment. The textile studio of the department of Fine and Applied arts in the University of Benin lacks the necessary facilities required for an effective textile design study and delivery. This research is a quest to solve the problem of inappropriate furnishing of the textile studio of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts University of Benin. Textile is a very large section that requires enough facilities like well-arranged storage system and reliable light box for tracing. Without any of the aforementioned equipment, activities would be at snail speed and could be prone to mishaps. A comparative study of the immediate environment was done to ascertain what constitutes an ideal textile studio in terms of furnishing. It is hoped that the workstation would greatly ameliorate the challenges being faced by the textile students in the studio, creating the avenue for them to adequately express themselves creatively

A textile studio is the major place of textile production because it is where the works of art are being done. The lack of ventilated working environment has made the construction of a studio very necessary for students comfortability in learning and creating awareness of how studio should be constructed, arranged, use and maintained; moreover, an ideal studio should have a dye pit and a good bathroom for students to take quick wash from dirts and stains caused during the course of working. This research will provide a lasting remedy to the problem of insufficient working space, the project has revealed that some basic studio equipment’s and tools could be put in place for students use since there is enough space to accommodate the aforesaid. Consequently, having identified the problem of working space in the textile studio of the university of Benin, This research is aimed at completing the construction of the new textile studio which was not completed during the 2017/2018 session in order to further improve Textile Students skills and artistic prowess and aesthetic values in textile production

This project topic has been a recurring theme in various art forms/styles, yet its impact in the society has been limited. Various artist has attempted to tackle this issue through their work, using powerful imagery and symbolism to convey the devastating effect of corruption on the country’s development. Nevertheless, despite these efforts, the cycle of corruption and economic stagnation remains unbroken, and the desired change has not been achieved to its fullest. In Using Colours and Style to Express Specific Emotions, the research explores how fashion designers can utilize colour and style to create specific emotions in fashion design. The research is based on colour psychology theories and enclothed cognition, expanding from a theoretical understanding towards a practice-led approach where a framework for fashion design was established. In using a practice-led approach, the research project ended with the creation of a four-piece fashion collection for women encapsulating the basic emotions of mankind: anger, fear, surprise, and grief. The research project explores how specific colours, fabrics, and shapes can be used to convey specific emotions from an abstract point in fashion design to more concrete clothing. The ability to apply these concepts in practice shows how abstract psychology emotions can be successfully communicated in a way where colour and fashion can be combined with a specific intention to create more emotional garments in fashion design

The interdependence and biological interaction of species as allies-a call for improved cohabitation (symbiosis) is an attempt to effect closer attention of the relationship whish exists between species such as man, plants and animals. It emphasises the interrelative roles of species for the sustenance of each other, against actions that would lead to a collective suffering and threat of possible extinction for the community. In our world today, we are plagued with increasing need for extension of habitation prompted by the advent of the new medicine "technology" which fires up the unsatisfied tastes of man, wanting artificial comfort at all costs, hereby displacing his neighbour species from their own natural breeding environment. And to this effect, nature, being the victims of devaluation turns hostile towards man, dividing the world by two 'the predator and the prey'. "Allies" is a term which seeks to align (or realign) species to a more natural and safer life of cohabitation, seeking respect for individual habitation to promote general thriving of the elements of nature. This objectives is achieved in the exploration of acrylic colours on a canvas measuring 5 x 6 feet to depict the idea as a practice-based research methodology. The painting featured the primates of life, man and ape, at various ends of their distinct breeding environment, sharing a common tree branch stemming from the wig of matter nature was a successful and laudable result that nature have regained alignment and is safely cohabited.
