Abstract
This project work attempts to investigate and describe the body-part terminology in Obosi. Over the last 150 years, Nigeria has benefited from a lot of linguistic attention, mainly in the area of phonetics, phonology, morphology, and syntax. As with many African languages however, investigation of semantic issues has remained behind. The present study focuses on body part as a semantic domain, providing first of all a detailed and illustrated overview of Obosi body-part terminologies. Furthermore, the study covers such areas as grammatical constructions for bodily actions and events, organizing principles of the domain, frame semantic theory was employed to discuss some of the meaning ascribed to most of the body-parts, and the body parts in the context of the Obosi conception. An overview of previous research into body-part terminology provides the necessary background to the more descriptive part

Abstract
Peace is a concept of societal friendship and harmony in the absence of hostility and violence (Wikipedia 2020). In a social sense, peace is commonly used to mean a lack of conflict (such as war) and freedom from fear of violence between individuals or groups. Relevant studies have shown that Nigeria has been tagged “a security risk nation”, because of the incessant crises, social vices, and lack of cordial relationship among its ethnic and religious groups. This project also showed the implication of conflicts as it affects peaceful co-existence in Nigeria and the roles of Christianity in solving the violence or conflicts in the nation. However, so much good has been done in the name of religion. Tasie (2002) reiterates that religion per se does not create problems, particularly the three main religions of Nigeria- African Traditional Religion, Christianity and Islam.

Abstract
Zooplankton constitute a diverse assemblage in most freshwater habitats. A study on the assessment of physico-chemical Characteristics in relation to zooplankton communities in fresh water habitats in Oghara, Delta State was conducted from January – March 2021. Water and Zooplankton samples were collected at monthly and fortnightly respectively at three different sampling stations. Physicochemical parameter were determined using standard methods while Zooplankton Samples were preserved with 4% formaldehyde solution. Mean temperature ranged from (26.00 ±0.577 - 28.83 ± 1.589). Mean Value of Ph was slightly acidic to neutral, ranging from (6.76 – 6.05). Dissolved Oxygen was quite low typical of most eutrophic water bodies. BOD mean value was relatively high (5.80 – 8.40) owing to
increased organic decomposition by organisms during the study period. Nitrate ranged from (0.57 to 5.27) during the study period. The result of zooplankton composition indicated the presence of 33 species of Zooplanktons belonging to three major classes; Cladocera 1108 individual taxa (93.5%), Rotifera 5 individual taxa (0.43%) and Copepoda 72 individual taxa (6.07%). Cladocera were more diverse with 21 representative species, followed by Copepods and Rotifers with 9 and 3 species respectively

Abstract
Stimulants are a major constituent of psychoactive substances. They cause several untoward effects; including academic difficulty which can lead to untoward consequences for students. The understanding of the knowledge and pattern of use of
stimulant will help in its prevention and control. Thus, this study intended to investigate the knowledge and practice and current prevalence rates of stimulant use, using the undergraduate students in the university of Benin as case study, age and
gender of students as well monthly income and how they got to know about stimulants, specific type of stimulant used and reason for using stimulants. The instrument consisted of sociodemographic variables and the stimulant knowledge section,
benefits, health effects and effects section of Questionnaire for Student Drug Use Survey. It was administered on 100 undergraduate students of University of Benin selected by random technique. The current prevalence rates of stimulant use were 61%,
54% and 50% respectively for the use caffeine, alcohol and cannabis. The majority (77%) of our respondents were in the age range of 21-25. Only 2% of our respondents were married. Therefore, efforts at curtailing the use of stimulants must start early;
incorporating such strategy into primary school curriculum will be worthwhile. There is need to focus more on common stimulants like coffee, Kola nut, caffeinated energy drinks. Students need to study without using stimulants

The study found out that the Extent to which TVC showcases indigenous fashion brands is high, however Lagos residents agree that it is not enough. The study revealed that Lagos residents perceive these programmes as entertaining and interesting and that television programmes about Nigerian fashion brands influence people to patronize these brands which in turn, promotes the Nigerian fashion industry. Abstract
This study utilized cellulose for the adsorption of Zn(II) from aqueous solution via batch adsorption process. The effect of the adsorption parameters: Adsorbent Dosage, Initial Concentrations, and Contact time were investigated. examined under various conditions using heavy metal ion (Zn 2+ ) as the adsorbate. The amounts of Zn(II) adsorbed were estimated by using flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer. It was found to obey the langmuir isotherm as it gave the best fit to the isotherm data. The result of kinetic studies revealed that the adsorption process obeyed pseudo-second order. After the completion of the adsorption process of Zn(II), the result obtained shows that cellulose can be used as an effective adsorbent for the removal of Zinc ion (Zn 2+ ) from aqueous solution

Abstract
Literature on Nigeria’s social-economic and political development is relatively silent on the contributions of women. The awareness about the role of women in development gained momentum in the latter half of the 1980’s 1 . However, the contributions of women to the development of states in Nigeria cannot be over emphasized. Women have been a huge support to men in the development of states and kingdoms in Africa especially in sub-Sahara Africa. Although several scholars have submitted that the reason for the obvious silence, is because the issue of patriarchy which is still in practice in almost every part of Africa 2 . During the pre-colonial era, Nigerian women contributed to the sustenance of their immediate family and society at large through collective efforts. Pre-colonial Nigerian economy was basically at a sustenance level and Nigerian women participated effectively in this economy. Apart from being mothers and wives, and taking charge of domestic sector, women contributed substantially to the production and distribution of goods and services 3 . In fact, they were also incharge of subsistent farming of food crops that fed their families on a daily basis. They were involved in pottery making, Bead making as well as weaving, especially in the various communities in Benin kingdom. In northern Nigeria, even the women in Purdah were involved in food processing and also traded with neighbouring states with the aid of their children
