Abstract
This research was carried out to assess the level of utilization of evaluation material for effective learning of biology. The researcher using research questions was able to determine the difference in utilization of evaluation materials bet public and private schools and also to investigate the factors responsible for poor utilization of evaluation materials for effective learning of biology. In doing this study the researcher discovered that there are various factors influencing the utilization of evaluation in both public and private schools and give recommendations of how to better handle this problems and improve on the utilization of evaluation materials for effective learning of biology.

Abstract
The current 300 level graphics design studio in the department of fine and applied arts, university of Benin, lacks the necessities required for an effective graphic design study and delivery. It is on the note that the 2020/2021 graduating students, decided to brand the studio to make it more conducive for effective learning. This was done by providing the studio with the required materials such as polished furniture, ceiling fans, projector, electrical fittings, chairs, repainting, etc. it is this researcher’s hope that when these materials are installed, they will inspire the present and future graphic design students in the Department to express as well as maximize their full artistic potentials.

A SURVEY OF STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION OF THE PROBLEMS MILITATING AGAINST THE EFFECTIVE LEARNING OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the student’s perception of problems militating against effective the learning English language in public secondary school in Oredo educational zone. The design adopted was the descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised of 13 public schools in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state,with the total population of 2626,785 students. Simple random technique was adopted with a total number of 250 students. The research instruments used for the study was a questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into two sections. "Section A" was designed to generate personal information of the respondents. While the "Section B" comprises of items on the topic under research. It was constructed to reflect the problem of the study such that the items would be relevant to the purpose of the study. The instrument was reviewed and certified by the project supervisor and two (2) other lecturers in the Department of Educational Foundation. Faculty of Education in University of Benin. Data collected ware analyzed using "test re-test" method for the study. The findings of the study revealed that students they lack concentration in English language because of mother tongue interference; They also the lack qualified teachers; They are influenced by the home background which affects their English language learning; They lack proper classroom and also without classroom necessity and amenities. It was recommended that Students are to take their academic seriously, avoid bad companies, engage actively in class, struggle to assuage the effects of factors they cannot control such as poor background by way of determining to learn and be successful.

Abstract
This project explores how to create an effective workstation area in the Graphic Design and Communications Studio at the University of Benin. It uses various research methods and design principles to address practical challenges and enhance graphic design education.

The project follows Creswell's (2014) approach to applied research design, focusing on gathering relevant data and applying it to real-world issues. It targets the graphic design studios for 300 and 400 level students at the university, where more workstations are urgently needed.

The results demonstrate a comprehensive approach to workstation design that addresses actual challenges in graphic design education. Recommendations include regular maintenance, ongoing adjustments based on evolving needs, and active involvement of stakeholders for optimal studio performance.
