Abstract
This study titled school location and students academic performance in public senior secondary school in Edo state; a study of Oredo Local government Area. The objectives of the study are; to ascertain if there is relationship between school location and students academic performance, to identify significant difference in the relationship between school location and students academic performance based on school type and to ascertain significant difference in the relation between school location and student academic performance based on teachers qualification. Survey research design and descriptive design was used with a sample size of 8 obtained using stratified random technique. 8 copies of questionnaire were distributed to the respondents and 8 was returned, representing 100% which was used for the analysis using correlation. The result of the analysis was carefully studied and utilized in making the research findings which indicated that urban schools have better performances in WASSCE. They are more exposed to learning, have better infrastructures and have qualified teachers. This study recommends that government should invest more in rural schools to bridge the gap between students of urban schools and rural schools

Abstract
The study investigated the roles of Christian religious studies in curbing moral decadence among secondary school students in Ikpoba -Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. Four research questions were used to guide the study. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised of thirteen thousand three hundred and thirty students (13,330) in the twenty (20) senior secondary schools in Ikopa Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, and the sample for the study consist of one
hundred (100) students drawn from five (5) secondary schools in Ikopa Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. The simple random sampling technique was used in selecting the schools from the twenty secondary schools in Ikopa Okha Local Government Area of Edo State. Twenty (20) students were drawn from each school with the use of purposive random sampling technique. The instrument used in generating data for the study was closed-ended questionnaire. The questionnaire was validated by the esearcher’s supervisor and two other experts in measurement and evaluation.

Abstract
The study investigated the influence of teachers’ qualification on the effective teaching and learning of English in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. The design adopted for this study was the descriptive survey method Three (3) research question were raised to guide this study: Does teacher’s classroom effectiveness on the use of instructional materials influence student’s academic performance. What is the influence of effective communicatioin of teachers on student’s academic performance? Does the effect of communication affect the understanding of learners learning style in classroom environment? The population of the study consisted of all public senior secondary school students in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. The sample size for this study was a total number of one hundred and thirty four (134) students who were selected using the simple random sampling technique. A structured questionnaire was used to obtain data from respondents. Data collected from the survey was statistically analyzed. After analysis, results were displayed on tables showing frequencies and percentages of responses. From findings of the study, the study indicates that the majority of students perceive a positive impact on their academic performance when teachers effectively utilize instructional materials. This finding aligns with existing research highlighting the importance of incorporating diverse teaching aids to enhance student learning outcomes. The high mean scores across all items related to instructional material usage suggest that students acknowledge the benefits of visual aids, technological tools, and hands-on resources in facilitating understanding and engagement in the classroom. The recommendation for effective teaching in secondary school, emphasizes on academic goals should be encouraged; makes [goals] explicit Iand expect students to be able to master the curriculum; carefully organizes and sequences the curriculum.
