Abstract / Summary
The issue of same-sex marriage (S-SM) has become a source of worry around the world. While some countries have legalized the practice, some other ones have not; and yet others are considering formalizing it beyond mere civil union. There are so many philosophical (favorable and others against) arguments about the practice of S-SM, ranging from religious, cultural, legal, and political grounds. However, that the idea ofS-SM isbeing accorded a modicum of praxis around the world implies that there, in the least, are some perceived (or real) social values of the practice. Hence this theoretical but lateral article, by analyzing of specific available literature on human sexuality vis-a-vis marriage/sex, explains the essential nature of (the issues concerning) S-SM or union, and articulates the possible social and psychological values accruable from the practice. It outlines and juxtaposes the moral and legal suasions surrounding the doctrine of S-SM so as to spit an overview of its personal/psychological and social values. It thus articulates a philosophical basis for the possible tenability of the same-sex (S-S) union as state doctrine and policy for nascent society that desiresto stamp out the excesses of orthodox marriages such as, in the least, violent rivalry arising from sexual interests, gender agitations, and avert population explosion.

Abstract
Stimulants are a major constituent of psychoactive substances. They cause several untoward effects; including academic difficulty which can lead to untoward consequences for students. The understanding of the knowledge and pattern of use of stimulant will help in its prevention and control. Thus, this study intended to investigate the knowledge and practice and current prevalence rates of stimulant use, using the undergraduate students in the university of Benin as case study, age and gender of students as well monthly income and how they got to know about stimulants, specific type of stimulant used and reason for using stimulants. The instrument consisted of sociodemographic variables and the stimulant knowledge section, benefits, health effects and effects section of Questionnaire for Student Drug Use Survey. It was administered on 100 undergraduate students of University of Benin selected by random technique. The current prevalence rates of stimulant use were 61%, 54% and 50% respectively for the use caffeine, alcohol and cannabis. The majority (77%) of our respondents were in the age range of 21-25. Only 2% of our respondents were married. Therefore, efforts at curtailing the use of stimulants must start early; incorporating such strategy into primary school curriculum will be worthwhile. There is need to focus more on common stimulants like coffee, Kola nut, caffeinated energy drinks. Students need to study without using stimulants.

Abstract / Summary
This paper sets out to examines the ontological meaning of life based on the relationship that exists among the Nigerian citizens, government and its law enforcement agents. Down through the ages the scenario created by the Nigerian government and its law enforcement agencies in the careless mishandling of the citizens they swore to protect with their positions is becoming a terrific and an imaginable phenomenon. The insensitive mishandling of the citizens as low breed animals has forced people to ask whether life in Nigeria is a right or a privilege. The government and its law enforcement agencies in Nigeria are now playing God/assume the position of God when dealing with the citizens; because they decide who to live or die at times without crime. This paper observes that in Nigeria, fundamental human rights exist in shadow and utopic impression of false hope. The absolute disregard for the fundamental human rights in Nigeria has led to man in humanity to man in the country, insecurity, corruption, outright injustice, and mass exodus of the citizens to foreign lands where life is more secured. This paper will adopt a historical and phenomenological methodology in order to examine the issue at hand with historical facts, references and without bias. The work will attempt to make some recommendations on how to navigate out of this uncivilized and barbaric system we presently find ourselves in the 21st century

International Journal of Research and Reports in
Gynaecology
Abstract / Summary
Purpose: In the discussion about landmark achievements of primary healthcare (PHC) in Nigeria, health promotion regarding respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) in maternal child health (MCH) is considered to be limited. The objective is to determine the landmark achievements in Nigeria with a view to identify health promotion needs. Methods: This followed a critical narrative review approach. The critical literature search method was adopted as a systematic approach failed to yield any article that satisfies selection criteria, after applying all intended inclusion criteria. Search engines included Google and PubMed as well as government and organizational documents. Major evaluation was 10 years landmark achievement of Alma Ata on MCH program in Nigeria. Results: There has been fluctuation and relatively slowed % rate of reduction in maternal mortality. Infant mortality has remained higher than national death rate, hence it is encouraging that Nigeria Mini-Review Article Akuirene et al.; IJRRGY, 4(1): 129-139, 2021; Article no.IJRRGY.73663 130 adopted in 2016 Every Newborn Tracking Tool of the Global Strategy progress monitoring. However, no study has focused on RDS in MCH with regards to impact of gas flaring in Delta State. Conclusion: In the goal of achieving health for all emerged the Alma Ata Declaration on primary healthcare (PHC) being endorsed. Although, report is pending with regards to how much of the goals have been unachieved, major finding is dearth of data regarding MCH program in relation to gas flaring or the associated RDS. Studies

Abstract
This study was aimed to examine suitability of Dangara middle layer clay as an adsorbent for the removal of vanadium ions. variable parameter such as adsorbent dosage, initial concentration, contact time, pH and temperature were at moderate level such that they can affect the removal of vanadium ions. For pH, it was observed that the % removal was increases with an increasing in pH. The optimum % removal was obtained from 79.39 at pH 9, and the lower % removal was obtained at 70.50 from pH 3. For adsorbent dosage it was discover % removal increases with an increasing in adsorbent dosage, the optimum % removal was obtained 82.15 at 1g and the lower % removal was obtained from 69.28 at 0.2g. for initial concentration there an increases in percentage removal with an increasing in initial concentration the optimum percentage removal was obtained at 86.91 at 50g and lower percentage removal was obtained from 81.56 at 10g. for contact time it was discover there is increases in percentage removal with an increasing in contact time, the optimum percentage removal was obtained from 80.52 at 50mins And the lower percentage removal was obtained at 76.07 at 10mins also there is an increases in percentage removal with an increasing in temperature, optimum percentage removal was obtained at 80ᴼC (81.07) and lower percentage at 40ᴼC (78.67). The efficiency determination (r2) fitted for both langmuir and freundlich. For Langmuir isotherm it was discover that the efficiency determination (r2) obtained was 0.999 and efficiency determination for freundlich was 0.995 Maximum adsorption capacity calculated for Langmuir was 0.345mg/g why the freundlich constant obtained was o.457. The Langmuir model was found to better described the adsorption behavior. Overall, the clay is not considered competent enough as an adsorbent for the removal of vanadium ions from aqueous solution because of low adsorption capacity calculated to be 0.345mg/g. Modification of the surface of the clay could improve its adsorption capacity.
