Abstract
Dietary cholesterol plays a crucial role in maintaining cardiovascular health. Consuming high
amounts of cholesterol can lead to hyperlipidemia and cardiac dysfunction. This study aims to
investigate the effect of frying of egg yolk with groundnut oil on the lipid profile and histological
changes in the heart of female Wistar rats (Rattus norvigecus). A total of sixteen female Wistar rats were divided into four groups labelled I-IV. Group I was administered soybean, groundnu t oil fried egg yolk, corn, premix, soybean oil, group II was administered synthetic cholesterol, corn, premix, soybean oil, soybean, group III was administered corn, premix, soybean oil, soybean and group IV was administered normal feed (grower mash) for 42 days. The rats had unrestricted access to food and water throughout the study. On the 43 rd day, the animals were sacrificed and biochemical analyses of cholesterol and triglyceride were conducted. And histopathological examination was done on the heart tissue. The results showed that rats fed with formulated diet of groundnut oil fried egg yolk had significant decrease in triglyceride level (259.53±3.05 mg/dL) compared to those fed synthetic cholesterol (307.63±7.74 mg/dL) suggesting that frying egg yolk with groundnut oil may reduce the hypertriglyceridemia effect of egg yolk. While, there was an increase in cholesterol level in the group fed with formulated diet of groundnut oil fried egg yolk 589.19±4.03 mg/dL) when compared to the group fed with synthetic cholesterol (577.09±9.53 mg/dL) suggesting that frying may influence lipid metabolism. The experimental group fed groundnut oil fried egg yolk showed significant histopathological changes such as active congestion and vasodilation, while the group fed with synthetic cholesterol showed mild perivascular mobilization of fibroblasts. However, excessive consumption of dietary cholesterol, regardless of preparation method, remains a risk factor for hyperlipidemia and cardiovascular complications.

Abstract
One of the elements driving progress is the media. It can serve as a suitable medium for promoting environmental awareness if used appropriately. The physical environment is crucial to the existence of the universe as a whole, and Nigeria has been working to lower the risk of unsustainable environmental conditions. This study sought to determine the extent of listener awareness of environmental sustainability reporting on radio, as well as the effectiveness of the radio's role in spreading and cultivating environmental awareness. Respondents from the Oredo local government were surveyed. For this study, a quantitative analysis using questionnaires was used. 400 respondents in the Oredo local government area of Benin City, Edo State, received the questionnaires. The study was supported by theories of attitude modification, uses and pleasure, and development of media. Simple random and purposeful sampling was used to choose the respondents. Frequency and percentage analyses of the data were performed. The results demonstrate that many Oredo metropolitan residents are aware of environmental sustainability initiatives coverage on radio. However, the study recommends that In order to effectively and efficiently broadcast information on weather, climate, and other environmental issues, radio and other media should maintain a specific desk called the environmental and climate desk. It is also advised that broadcast media outfit their reporters with advanced tools or equipment to cover scientific topics like covering areas with less effort on environmental sanitation or poor environmental sanitation, flooding disasters, heavy wind and storm without much stress. The study equally suggests that in order to better exhibit professionalism and ensure that the public is informed, broadcast media organizations should offer specialized seminars and workshops for their reporters on how to effectively cover scientific and environmental news and greater airtime be devoted to programming about environmental sustainability.

Abstract
This article presents a study which is aimed at identifying the problems and constraints of teaching history in secondary schools in Nigeria using secondary schools in Ukwuani local government area of Delta state . The problem of teaching history is often traced to the low production capacity of the history teacher. This article argues that the dullness of history lessons in class and lack of interest among the students can also be traced to the teacher who is accused of lack of resourcefulness, laziness, intellectual bankruptcy and lack of interest in the subject. This study therefore examines the challenges facing the teaching and learning of History as a subject in senior secondary schools in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta state, Simple random sampling technique was adopted to select some History teachers and 100 History students as samples. Questionnaire was designed to collect data while a descriptive statistic was used to answer the three research questions generated in this study. The findings reveal that inconsistent government policies towards History as a subject, the quality of History teachers and the teaching method used in teaching History has adversely affected the teaching and learning of the subject in Ukwuani Government Area secondary schools of Delta State. Based on the findings, it is therefore recommended that the government should make History a compulsory subject for all secondary school students as other core subjects such as Mathematics and English Language, so that they can have adequate knowledge of Nigerian History, learn from the past mistakes of our leaders in order to correct the future. Finally, it is argued that the introduction of non - professional historians as history teachers also constitutes a major problem in teaching history. It is against this background that this study has become necessary in order to make useful suggestions aimed at arresting the constraints. The article summits that the solution to these problems lies in the cooperation of the teachers, students and the government.

Abstract
The high rate of unemployment in Nigeria has been linked to a rise in social vices, particularly among young people. With limited opportunities for employment, many youths turn to criminal activities such as drug trafficking, fraud, kidnapping etc as a means of survival. This does not pose to the safety and security of society but hinders the country’s economic development. This study will focus on the pressures that make youths in the Nigerian society settle for social vices because of their unemployedstate. It makes use of the qualitative research method to carry out textual analysis of the novels as it helps understand the view that both authors have towards Youth unemployment in the Nigerian society. Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani’s I Do Not Come to You by Chance and Chris Abani’s Graceland depict the psychological pressure and economic factors that makes youth settle for occupation that does not speak well of them. For instance, Kingsley in Nwaubani’s I do not come to you by chance decides to become a cyber-fraud and Elvis in Abani’s Graceland engages himself in different illegal jobs. This essay does not focus on government as the cause of unemployment but reveals that Youth unemployment contributes to social vices in the Nigerian society and concludes that, if reduced, will curb vices in the Nigeria society.

Abstract
Studies and advancements in neuroscience have been sparked by the prevalence of CNS diseases. Consequently, variety of therapies, medications and treatments with the goal of improving the lives of those affected have been created with an emphasis on herbal medicine. Major research has been done on different parts of Icacina trichantha such as the tubers, stems and leaf. It is traditionally used to treat hypertension, asthma, fever and neurological disorders. Pharmacological studies on the medicinal potential of the plant tuber, leaf and stem have been conducted, however there has been little research done on the leaves of the plant regarding CNS activity. Fresh leaves of Icacina trichantha were harvested, cleaned, dried and extracted over the course of 72 hours by cold maceration using (1:1) distilled water and methanol. Pentylenetetrazole induced seizure, Maximum electroshock induced Seizure, Rota-rod test and static- rod test was carried out in mice using graded doses 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg orally of the plant extract. Results from the experiment revealed that mice administered with 200 mg/kg of the plant extract was protected from pentylyenetetrazole induced seizure. While no protection in maximal electro-shock induced seizure was observed, had no effect on the animal models
used to evaluate skeletal muscle relaxation across all groups treated with the plant extract as compared to the control. This indicates that the plant possesses anti-convulsant activity but not effective on skeletal muscle relaxation.

Abstract
This study investigates the impact of credit risk management on the performance of Nigerian banks, focusing on three key variables: Non-Performing Loan Ratio (NPLR), Loan Loss Provisioning (LLP), and Collateralization Ratio (CR). Using descriptive statistics, correlation, regression analysis, and diagnostic tests, the findings reveal: •NPLR negatively affects bank performance, as higher non-performing loans reduce profitability and asset quality. •LLP also has a significant negative impact, indicating that excessive provisioning for potential loan losses constrains profitability. •CR, however, positively influences performance, as higher collateralization mitigates credit risk and enhances financial stability. •Diagnostic tests confirm the reliability of the data and model. The study concludes that effective credit risk management is essential for improving bank profitability and recommends stricter credit assessments, balanced provisioning policies, and leveraging technology for better loan management. These findings align with prior research emphasizing sound credit risk practices to enhance financial stability
