Abstract
The study examined "online marketing and the performance of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Benin city". The objectives of the study were to ascertain the relationship between online order and delivery system and the performance of small and medium scale enterprises; determine the relationship between online payment system and the performance of small and medium scale enterprises; and examine the relationship between online customer support service and the performance of small and medium scale enterprises. Primary data was used to gather the data necessary for the study. The population of the study consisted all small and medium scale enterprises in Ekosodin and 153 sample size was drawn out while 140 copies were retrieved and used for the analysis while 13 copies were not returned hence they were considered not usable for analysis of the study. Descriptive analysis, percentage and frequency table was used to answer the research questions while regression analysis was carried out using SPSS V.25 to test the hypotheses of the study. According to the analyses of the data gathered, it was revealed that online marketing tools such as, online order and delivery system, online payment system, and online customer support service has a significant relationship with the performance of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs). The study recommends that business owners should invite experts in online marketing field to educate and train the employees and business owners to have the necessary skills to enable the effective adoption and utilization of online marketing platforms. Also training and lectures should be put in place to educate employees on the right communication skills and mannerism to ensure effective online customer support service.

Abstract
This study examines the relationship between product quality and customer retention in manufacturing companies in Nigeria, focusing on Uniben table water in Benin City, Edo State. A descriptive survey research approach was employed, using a sample of 150 students
from The University of Benin, Ugbowo Campus. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS version 22.00.
The study found that product quality significantly influences customer retention in manufacturing companies. Factors such as product reliability, perceived product quality, and product conformance were identified as key determinants of customer satisfaction and retention. The findings highlight the importance of continuous quality improvement initiatives and the adoption of modern technology to enhance product quality and meet
customer expectations. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the dynamics of product quality and
customer retention in the Nigerian manufacturing sector. The findings emphasize the need for manufacturing companies to prioritize quality improvement efforts to enhance customer retention.

EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT AND JOB SATISFACTION IN NIGERIA WORKPLACE

Abstract
This study was carried out to empirically examine the employee empowerment and job satisfaction in Nigeria workplace. We also ascertained the possible influence of salary, promotion, job security and training on job satisfaction. The instrument used for the purpose of this research was gathered through primary source. The researcher administered two hundred and ninety-two (292) questionnaires to respondents comprises of Benin Plant of Okomu Oil Plc, Benin City, Edo State, Edo State. Out of two hundred and eighty-five (285) questionnaires administered were retrieved and were used for the analysis. The hypotheses were tested using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression technique. The findings from analysis revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between salary, training and job satisfaction. The study also revealed that there is a negative and insignificant relationship between promotion, job security and job satisfaction. In line with the findings, the study recommend that it therefore recommend that corporate organization management as well as other sectors of the economic should maintain the payment of employee salary as at when due to their enable employee to stay with their jobs thereby helping these public services achieve a more rapid growth, and enhanced organizational performance and consequently improving the nation’s economy

The aim of this study was designed to examine employee commitment and organisational performance. To guide the study, three research questions were raised which are outlined thus: What is the impact of affective commitment on organisational performance? How does normative commitment affect organisational performance? How does continuous
commitment affect organisational Performance? The study adopted survey research design because the sampled elements and the variables under investigation were observed without any attempt to control or manipulate them
from these three research questions, 15 items were raised in the questionnaire together with the data for this study and the questionnaire was subject to Cronbach alpha method of testing and a coefficient of 0.75 was obtained. The descriptive survey research design was used for this study. The population of this study comprised Chicken republic Staff in Benin City. The findings from the study revealed that majority of the respondents agreed that organisational commitment creates an impact among the workers of chicken republic. It was shown that the respondents strongly agreed that staff motivation aids commitment. It was seen that job satisfaction enhances commitment. It is recommended that the management of companies are advised to hire employees who are likely to become linked to the organisation. The organisation must exhibit a high level of commitment to its employees. If employees are concerned about losing their jobs, there is very little likelihood of high level of employees’ commitment.
