Abstract
The concept of Copyright has its foundational purpose on the reward for hard work, that oneshould reap where he sows and vice versa. However the achievement of this purpose has provento be more challenging than envisaged. Ever since 1988, the Copyright has made provisions forbodies known as collective societies to go about this function of Protection of copyright, but it might be too generous to say they have done a job well done. A comparison of the Copyright enforcement in Nigeria with that of other foreign states liketheUS would see that these foreign states have higher cases of litigation for copyright. This might beg the question of why this is the case in the first place. Nevertheless the challenges still persist in these foreign states. As far as Nigeria is concerned, would the Copyright Act, 2022helptoameliorate these challenges, giving us better results in terms of enforcement or is this just another chapter from the past? Supposedly, the advent of the internet would no longer be a burden on the administrrabilityandenforcements of copyright in Nigeria, especially with the newly promulgated Copyrights Act of2022. However will this be a conclusion too early made? On the surface level we canseethesteps being made by the Copyrights Commission in collaboration with the Nigerian legislaturetoensure that these rights are better protected, a critical look will also show that the basic problemsmight still remain unsolved. Could it be that these laws along with the functions of the NCCandthe Collective societies , even go against the wishes of the artist they claimto protect?Inasmuch as the purpose for copyright is to reward creativity, these creatives can only be rewardedwith respect to their popularity, but if the Copyrights Act works against this popularity howthencan we achieve the aim of reward?

Abstract
The relevant goal of this study was to empirically examine the relationship betweencredit risk management and financial performance of deposit money banks in Nigeriafor a period of 9 years (2009 to 2017). The rationale for the study was basedontherealization that credit risk is one of the most sensitive exposures facing the financial performance of any deposit money banks in the world today. Failure to ef ectivelymitigate its adverse ef ect, will spell doom for the banks. Descriptive statistics andcorrelation coef icient were used to examine the background characteristics of thevariables. The panel data analysis econometric technique was employed for the mainanalysis of the study. The findings from the empirical analysis, on the basis of the fixed ef ect indicatethat nonperforming loans and bank size have significant negative impact on the banks’ financial performance in Nigeria. While capital adequacy, loan loss provisionandliquidity ratio does not have significant impact on banks ’financial performanceinNigeria. The study recommends among others that; management needs to be cautious insetting up a credit policy that can be strongly linked with profitability in the banks. Management also needs to know how credit policy af ects the operation of theirbanks to ensure judicious utilization of deposits and maximization of profit. Impropercredit risk management reduces the bank profitability, af ects the quality of its assetsand increase loan losses and non-performing loans which may eventually leadtofinancial distress. Also, management should not solely concentrate on the profit maximization concept but should also adopt measures that will ensure ef ectiveliquidity management. These measures will help to minimize or avoid cases of excessive variation in banks ’ liquidity position..

Thirty catfish samples (Ten samples from each culture facility) of average weight of 500g obtained from a reputable farm in Benin city were euthanized, eviscerated, degutted, and thoroughly washed under running water. The samples from the earthen pond, concrete tank, and tarpaulin were tagged sample A, B, and C respectively. The proximate analysis of the fresh and smoked-dried samples was done according to standard methods. Organoleptic assessment was done by trained panelists. The result reveals that C. gariepinus raised in the concrete tank had the best general acceptability in terms of appearance, texture, aroma and taste, although, there was no significant difference (P

Abstract
Luffa cylindrica is a popular, medicinal vine belonging to the Curcubitaceae family that reproduces from seeds. Commonly called loofah, Luffa cylindrica is used in treating pains, backaches, rheumatoid arthritis, fever, syphilis, dysentery and tumours. Luffa cylindrica fruit extracts, using ethanol was studied to explore its In-vitro antioxidant activity and HPLC profile. DDPH (α, α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl) radical, FRAP (Ferric reducing antioxidant power), Hydroxyl radical, and Nitric oxide scavenging activity were assayed to determine the antioxidant capacity of Luffa cylindrica. Also, bioactive compounds were determined using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Phytochemical screening of the ethanoic extract of the Luffa cylindrica fruit extracts indicated the presence of steroids, flavonoids, terpenoids, glycosides, alkaloids and phenolic compounds. Quercetin was the most predominant compound present.
