Abstract
This study was carried out to evaluate the microbiological and proximate analysis of diseased and healthy tomato fruits (Lycopersicum esculentum). Standard microbiological and analytical methods were used to determine the total heterotrophic bacterial and fungal count of healthy and diseased tomato samples obtained from two locations in Benin City. The isolated bacteria were characterized and identified using cultural and biochemical means from the samples. The proximate parameters such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, fibres and ash contents were evaluated using standard methods. The results revealed that the
bacterial count ranged from 7.13 ±0.11 x 10 4cfu/g in Uselu market to 4.25 ±0.96 x 10 4cfu/g in Osa market.

Abstract
A wide array of ethno-medicinal values has been attributed to the different parts of Annona muricata, and indigenous communities in Africa and South America extensively use this plant to augment conventional drugs. Acute and subchronic toxicity studies were carried out on the stem bark extract of Annona muricata Linn. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of A. muricata on hematological parameters in wistar albino rats. A total of Sixty (60) male albino rats were divided into 12 groups of five (5) rats each. They were given grower pellets and water. Groups one (control), two, three, four, five, six were administered 0, 200, 500, 1000, 3000 and 5000 mg/kg body weight of the extract per day respectively for a period of 28days.Weekly measurements of body weight were carried out. After 30 days, the rats were subjected to overnight fast after which they were sacrificed, with their
blood and organ samples collected into sterile containers with anticoagulant. Hematological profiles showed increased levels of red blood cells and its related indices for both methanolic and aqueous extract of Annona muricta. The investigation into the sub-chronic toxicity of methanol and aqueous extract of the stem bark of Annona muricata revealed no significant effect on the immunity of wistar albino rats.

Abstract
The importance of the age long doctrine of the rule of law can never be overemphasized. The rule of law is one of the fundamental principles that guides the activities of those who govern in a democratic society. Nigeria, like most countries in the world today, is one of those that has embraced this doctrine along with several mechanisms for safeguarding it; including the principle
of separation of powers and checks and balance. This doctrine must however be seen in reality and not merely professed with the mouth. This project is therefore of the opinion that Nigeria must seek to correct any discrepancies between what the rule of law currently is, and what it ought to be. It projects perceived excesses in government and the shortfalls of the judicial arm which is the major body tasked with the duty of ensuring that the other arms remain within the boundaries of the powers assigned to them by the constitution.

Abstract
In March 2020, World Health Organization (WHO), declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Consequently all schools in Nigeria were shut down and Federal Government instructed schools to adopt online modes of teaching and learning. This study assessed the
perceptions of senior secondary school chemistry students in Benin City of the effect of COVID-19 lock-down on their academic and social life. Four research questions and four corresponding hypotheses were raised and tested. Related literatures were reviewed. The study employed the descriptive survey design. The population of the study comprised of all the chemistry students from Public and Private senior secondary schools in Benin City, Edo State. The sample consisted of one hundred and five students. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire on Effects of COVID-19 Lock-down on Academic and Social Life: Perceptions of Senior Secondary Science Students. The instrument consisted of two sections. Section A is on student’s biodata, Section B is information on the effects of COVID-19 Lock-down on Academic and Social Life: Perceptions of Senior Secondary Science Students. The instrument was face validated by the supervisor. The instrument was administered to the students in their various schools by the researcher with the assistance of their class teacher. Students responded to the questionnaire, which were collected on the spot. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent T-test. Results showed that there is no significant difference in students’ perception of the effect of COVID-19 on their academics based on type of school and gender. Students from public and private schools; male and female students, seems to perceive COVID-19 has not affected their academics. Similarly, there is no significant difference in the perceptions of students from private and public schools on the effect of COVID-19 on their social life. They seem to also disagree that the pandemic had effect on their social life, except for male and female students from private schools who agreed. It was recommended that academics in secondary schools should be made more interesting and fulfilling for students by government providing infrastructural and elearning facilities to enhance teaching and learning of science.

Abstract
This study focuses on surveying students’ perception of the movie, Oloibiri as a campaign against oil exploitation in Niger Delta. The study was anchored on Agenda Setting Theory and Dialectical Materialism Approach Theory. The survey research method was adopted for the study with the effective use of a well-structured questionnaire to ascertain public perception of the movie as a campaign against oil exploitation in Niger Delta. Findings from this research indicated that the movie was very successful in campaigning against oil exploitation in Niger Delta. In addition, the findings of the study indicated media advocacy and sensitization were campaign strategies employed in the movie. More so, Oloibiri played a significant role in exposing the menace of oil exploitation in Niger Delta and reinforced people’s opinion on how oil exploitation should be handled. The study recommends that for issues of oil exploitation to be drastically reduced, Sustainable development could still be attained in the Niger Delta region when environmental protection laws alongside favourable oil industry and land tenureship/derivation principles are stringently put in place in the Nigerian polity. Also significant in this finding is the machinery of governance to treat Niger Delta Region issues with probity, accountability and service to the people
