THE INFLUENCE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS ACQUIRED BY BUSINESS EDUCATION STUDENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF SMALL SCALE ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The study was to investigate the impact of the language laboratory on effective teaching and learning of the English language. Four (4) research questions were raised and literature of other researchers were reviewed. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design, data was collected through the aid of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was structured according to the research questions and distributed to sample population of 63 respondents. The findings of the study revealed that secondary schools do not have adequate English laboratories for the effective teaching and learning of English language and lack the basic necessities needed for a good English laboratory with no adequate English laboratories for the effective teaching and learning of English language in secondary schools. Schools with adequate English laboratories are more effective in the teaching and learning of English language although many schools have limited facilities for a good English laboratory and so need to be upgraded to meet with international standards. It was however recommended that government should ensure that adequate funds is released to public secondary schools for the building of language laboratories needed for the teaching of student; government and schools should ensure that qualified and competent teachers are employed for the teaching of Oral English in secondary schools in Ikpoba Okgha LGA; and that school management should ensure that language laboratories are adequately utilized for the correction of other tongue interference in secondary schools in Benin City.

Abstract
This study examined study habit and its influence on the academic performance of students offering accounting courses in university of Benin. The study employed a descriptive research survey type. The population of the study comprises of 500 Business Education Students of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education, university of Benin. Simple random sampling was used to select 200 accounting education students as sample for the study. The research instrument was named “Study Habits and Academic Performance Questionnaire (SHAPQ)” Data collected were analyzed using simple percentage for the research questions. The descriptive analysis revealed that study habit has strong significant influence on the academic performance of students offering accounting courses in university of Benin. The outcome of this study would be of immense help to undergraduates, help to improve their study habit skills and in turn facilitate student’s performance. Improvement in students academic
performance will therefore lead to national development as qualitative manpower will be produced. Also, the school, government and all stakeholders should make facilities and materials that facilitate studying available to students.

Abstract
This study examines the extent of the use of instructional materials for effective teaching and learning of home economics in secondary schools in Edo State. This study adopted the Proportionate Sampling technique In order to achieve the purpose of this study, four research questions were raised. The sample for the study consists of one hundred (128) respondents which were selected using a stratified sampling technique. Data was collected with the aid of questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the instrument were ascertained using the exert judgment and test-retest procedures. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse collected data. Based on the findings of the study it was ascertained that Instructional resources has a great influence on home economics in secondary schools in Edo State. The study thus recommended that teachers should always try their best to make use of available instructional materials where necessary to make their lessons more interesting. Also the management should be ready to cooperate with teachers in the provision and improvisation of instructional materials for better instructional delivery in the school.

The study employed descriptive survey research design. The population of this study comprised 133 business educators in colleges of education in Delta and River States. As a result of the manageable size, the entire population was used as sample, hence, census. The research instruments used for data collection was a checklist and a well-structured questionnaire titled
"Availability and Utilisation of ICT Resources in Business Education Programme Questionnaire" (AUICTRBEPQ). The instrument for data collection was subjected to face validity by the researcher's supervisor and two other experts from the Department of Vocational and Technical Education, University of Benin, Benin City. To determine the reliability of the instruments for
the study, the internal consistency of the items were measured using Cronbach alpha statistic. The instrument yielded a coefficient of 0.88. Data collected were analysed using simple percentage (%) mean ( ), standard deviation (SD) and two sample independent t-test.

This study was on the availability and utilisation of information and communication technology resources for teaching business education courses in colleges of education Nigeria. Four research questions guided the study and three hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study employed descriptive survey research design. The population of this study comprised 133 business educators in colleges of education in Delta and River States. The findings revealed that schools did not meet up to the standard set by the National Commission of Colleges of Education with regards to the required ICT facilities needed for teaching business education courses in colleges of education. There was a low utilisation of ICT resources in teaching business education courses in colleges of education in Delta and River States. There was no significant difference between the utilisation of ICT resources for teaching business education courses by male and female business educators in colleges of education in Delta and River States; there was a significant difference between business educators in federal and state colleges of education in Delta and River States on the utilisation of ICT resources in teaching business education courses and there was a significant difference between office technology management option and accounting option on educators' utilisation of ICT resources in teaching business education courses. It was concluded that the availability and utilization of ICT resources in teaching business education courses in colleges of education in Delta and Rivers States was low and the low availability of ICT facilities contributed negatively to effective utilization of ICT resources in colleges of education in Delta and Rivers States. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended among others that there should be collaboration between Government, management of the colleges of education and non-governmental agencies for the purchase of various ICT facilities in order to foster effective utilisation of these resources.

This study investigates the influence of digital literacy in improving the productivity, efficiency, and problem-solving abilities of African industrial workers. It investigates the fundamental digital abilities necessary in various industries, the influence of digital literacy on worker performance, the difficulties encountered in closing the digital skills gap, and ideas for improving digital literacy training. Using a quantitative research design, data was collected from 50 respondents via a standardized questionnaire and evaluated using mean scores and standard deviations. The findings emphasize the relevance of digital literacy in boosting workplace effectiveness, while also addressing challenges such as low resource availability and insufficient training program
