Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate the impact of environmental clubs on the knowledge and attitude of students of University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School towards road safety signs. Four research questions and two hypotheses were raised and analyzed for the purpose of the study. A random sampling technique was used in selection of sixty (60) students which would be drawn from all SS1 and SS2 students in University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School were randomly selected for the study. The data were collected with questionnaire instrument and analyzed using simple percentage. It was revealed that students from the experimental group who participated in road safety trainings have good attitude toward road safety compared to students in the control group who were not part of the training. The difference in their attitudes was significant, based on the data from the findings of this study. It was also revealed through further findings of this study that students from the experimental group who participated in road safety trainings have adequate knowledge about road safety signs compared to students in the control group who were not part of the training. Only few of the students in the control group could relate with those road safety signs. More findings of this study indicated that it is obvious that the effectiveness of road safety teachings in school cannot be compared to that of the environmental club. This can evidently be seen in students from the control who could not relate well with the road safety signs even though they were being taught in school. This study was able to find out the significance of the road safety training in the environmental club by being able to differentiate between the knowledge and attitude of those who participated in road safety trainings and those who did not. The activities of environmental clubs including road safety teachings can be promoted by encouraging teachers to become involved in the club to raise awareness about the club within the school and promote its activities to students.

Abstract
The study investigated the knowledge and attitude towards the prevention and control of tuberculosis among undergraduates in the faculty of education, UNIBEN. Four research questions were raised to guide the study. The descriptive survey research design was adopted to guide the study. The population for this research study will consists of six thousand, four hundred and thirty-five (6435) undergraduate students of the Faculty of Education of the University of Benin. The sample size for this study consists of 250 undergraduate students from 100 level to 400 level who will be purposively selected from four departments in the Faculty of Education. For the purpose of collecting acceptable and reliable information, the use of a questionnaire was adopted as an instrument for data collection. The questionnaire consisted of four sections A, B, C, and D. The different sections have a number of questions to help gather information on the respo dents, regarding their knowledge and attitude towards the prevention and control of tuberculosis. The researcher personally administered the instrument to the respondents. Following the collection and appropriate organization of valid questionnaires, the gathered data underwent analysis using frequency counts, mean calculations, and simple percentage. The findings suggest that undergraduates in the Faculty of Education at the University of Benin possess a generally positive attitude towards tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control. They recognized TB as a serious health threat and showed a willingness to engage in screening and preventive practices. Based on the findings of the study, it
was recommended amongst others: Awareness campaigns should continue to emphasize the importance of TB treatment and reduce stigma, especially regarding individuals undergoing treatment. Peer education programs should be promoted to enable students to share knowledge about TB prevention, symptoms, and treatment, fostering a more informed and supportive community, The university should offer regular TB screening programs to ensure early detection and prompt treatment.

Abstract
This study was carried out to identify the impact of environmental club on the knowledge and attitude of students towards the proper disposal of toxic waste. Four research questions and two hypotheses were raised and analyzed for the purpose of the study. A random sampling technique was used in selection of forty (40) students which would be drawn from all SS2 and SS3 students in Bravura Crestview Benin City were randomly selected for the study. The data were collected with questionnaire instrument and analyzed using simple percentage. The result revealed that; the knowledge level of SS2 and SS3 students in Bravura Crestview towards toxic waste is relatively high, students in Bravura Crestview are aware of effective mechanisms for toxic waste management, they know about the complications of improper waste management and they worry about toxic waste around their school and home environments, finally, the study revealed that the students had a positive attitude towards toxic waste, as it was obvious that they know that improper toxic waste disposal is a threat to the environment, and they also have a role to minimize the toxic waste. Based on the results, it was recommended that environmental education should be taught as a subject of its own from the UBE level and not infused into other subjects with a view to emphasize its relevance and significance in our contemporary society, educational campaign on toxic waste management is highly recommended. This awareness campaign should be targeted at all actors/ stakeholders by teaching them the mechanisms of toxic waste at the source, introducing alternative proper toxic waste management and also the negative effects of improper toxic waste management, efforts should be intensified to establish environmental protection/ conservation clubs in all schools including public and private, and environmental education should be introduced in teacher training institution (at both NCE and degree levels) to produce qualified personnel to teach environmental education in our schools.
