COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE STUDENTS ATTITUDE TOWARDS RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the attitude of male and
female students toward religious education (CRS) in senior
secondary schools in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State
and also whether there is any significant difference between their
attitude in respect to family background, the student concept, the
teacher factor, the school environment, the subject curriculum and
instructional methods. The students who participated were from four senior
secondary schools in Egor Local Government Area from SS1 class
(N = 80). To gather the data, a simple percentage process was used
to know the degree of respondents. According to the findings from the result of the gathered
information, there was no significant difference between the male
and female student’s attitudes toward religious education
regarding the various variables used.
