Abstract
Child abuse is a pervasive issue affecting children worldwide, with severe consequences for their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. This study investigates the manifestation of child abuse among primary school pupils in Benin City, Nigeria. A descriptive survey design was employed, with a sample of 120 pupils from public and private schools. The findings corroborate existing literature on emotional and physical abuse, highlighting the need for urgent attention to prevent and address child abuse in educational settings. The study recommends awareness programme, teacher training and policy reforms to ensure a safe and supportive environment for children.

Abstract
This research study examines Parental Influence on Primary School Child Education Development. Factors such as parental occupation, parental location, and parental beliefs were examined to know the influence it have on the education development of children in primary schools. The population comprised of 150 parents by which stratified simple sampling techniques was used. Data was collected from the parents by means of questionnaires. The results were analyzed by means of simple percentages and frequency count. Based on the findings, it was discovered that parents have an influence over the educational development of their children in kuje area council of F.C.T. Recommendations were made for parents to encourage their wards by providing educational needs and support, providing good atmosphere and for the parents to be enlightened about their value and role in the education of their wards.
