Abstract
This project involved designing and building a 3.5KVA hybrid pure sine wave inverter with a battery charging and monitoring system. A high frequency transformer with a 3.5KVA rating was used to design the inverter circuit. The 24V battery bank serving as the DC voltage supply. It was controlled by a high-performance microprocessor (DSPic30f4012) with sophisticated switching and control capabilities. The inverter design made advantage of the pulse width modulation technology.Design, construction, and testing were done on the inverter circuit. It worked well with a variety of home appliances, including a refrigerator, electric fans, and lightbulbs

Abstract
The increasing global demand for energy, coupled with growing concerns over climate change and environmental degradation, has prompted a shift towards sustainable energy solutions that reduce reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. Solar energy, in particular, has emerged as a promising renewable energy source, offering abundant, clean, and inexhaustible power from the sun. In light of these developments, this project focuses on the installation of a solar panel system for a 2 bedroom apartment, located within a residential community
