Abstract
This study examined the Impact of Technology in the Teachng and Learning of Accountancy in Nigeria Universities. The purpose of the study is to examine how the use of technology has impacted the teaching of accountancy. Survery research design was adopted, the study population comprised one hundred (100) four hundred level (400L) studying Accountancy/Accounting in the university of Benin and thirty (30) students in Igbinedion University. A structuredquestionnaire was used to gather data which was subsequently analyzed using mean(�) scores and Standard Deviation () to answer five (5) research questions. The findings revealed that the level of the use and proficiency of Technology in Universities in Nigeria Based on these findings, it was concluded that the use of Technology in teachingof accountancy has contributed in development readly made accounting graduates who are ready to take on the accounting profession. it was recommended that Universities need to provide cheap data plans for students studing accountancy in various Nigeria universities and also provide enough computers and stong data connections should be available in Nigeria Universities; lecturers should be given special training by experts every year on how to use the latest accounting softwares; lecturers should be provided personal computers and free strong data networks to enable them hold online classes with students.
