Firm Value Listed Commercial Banks Nigeria

The study investigated the effect of corporate cash holdings in firm's value of listed commercial banks in Nigeria Exchange Groups from 2018 to 2022. The used sample size of 13 commercial banks (from NGX website, 2023). The study made use of the secondary data sources from audited annual financial statement of the sample companies. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, employing panelregression and the Hausman test. The finding of thisresearch showsthat there is a negative significant relationship between cash holding and firm value. Firm leverage showed an insignificant positive relation with Firm Value, the relationship between firm size and firm value proved to be significantly positive and the study finds a statistically significant relationship between firm profitability and firms value. The study recommends that quoted commercial banks in Nigeria can increase their assets and improve the scope of their operations in order to increase their firms value
