Abstract
This study examined the influence of parental socio-economic status (SES) on the attitude of secondary school students toward learning in Oredo Local Government Area, Benin City, Edo State. Six research questions were raised and hypothesized. The hypotheses were tested at 0.5 level of significance. A descriptive survey design was adopted, and data were collected from 102 students selected through a stratified random sampling technique from both public and private Secondary schools. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire validated by experts and found reliable with a Cronbach Alpha coefficient of 0.682. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and Two-Way ANOVA.
